Fazon can give you everything it has saved about you, in files you keep. This article covers what’s in them and how to use them with your own tools. For where the exports are and what deleting does, see Exporting and deleting your data.
Which export to use
- Export food log is for reading and spreadsheets. CSV opens in a spreadsheet app. PDF is for reading or sharing. Choose All nutrients for every nutrient you logged.
- Export all data is for your own systems. It makes one JSON file, made for another program to read rather than as a report.
Both are in You → Settings, under Data.
What the full export holds
- Food: every food you logged, with its nutrients, and your saved meals, custom foods and favourites.
- Your body: weigh-ins and waist measurements, including weights Fazon read from Apple Health.
- Activity: Power Walks, and steps you entered by hand.
- Phases: each phase you started.
- Check-ins: every weekly check-in, and why the coach kept or changed your targets that week.
- Your profile and check-in settings. These are in every file, whichever period you choose.
Things you deleted are included and marked as deleted, so a tool reading the file can leave them out.
What it leaves out
- Sex and date of birth, unless you turn on Include sex and date of birth. It’s off by default, and you choose it for each file.
- Your Apple Health record itself. The file holds what Fazon saved from Health, not everything in Health.
Choosing a period
Pick This week, This month, Last 3 months, All time or Custom. The file holds the records from that period.
Using it with your own tools or an AI assistant
- In You → Settings, tap Export all data.
- Choose a period, and whether to include sex and date of birth.
- Tap Export, and save the file from the share sheet, for example to Files.
- Open or import the file in your own tool, or upload it to your AI assistant.
What the tool does with the file depends on the tool. Fazon doesn’t send the file anywhere itself.
Before you upload it
The file holds your health data: what you eat, your weight and your phases, including things you deleted. When you upload it to an AI assistant or any other service, that service receives it and handles it under its own terms, not Fazon’s. Read them before you upload. Fazon can’t take back a file once you’ve sent it.
The format
The file is JSON, a format most tools can read. Each record says what kind it is, so a tool can tell a weigh-in from a check-in without a separate guide.
