Apple Health and Fazon

Fazon uses Apple Health so you don’t have to type in what your iPhone already knows. Nothing is read or written until you connect it.

What Fazon reads

Steps, weight, calories and protein, waist, body fat, height, date of birth and sex.

What Fazon writes

The calories and protein of the food you log, and your weight, waist and height when you enter them in Fazon. Sex and date of birth are never written. Steps you add by hand stay in Fazon.

Connecting later

If you chose Not now during setup, connect from either place:

  • the Connect Apple Health → link on Today, or
  • You (the person icon at the top of Today) → Settings → Apple Health.

The row says Connected once Fazon has the access it asks for.

If you tapped “Don’t Allow”

iOS asks only once. After that, Fazon can’t show the request again, so you turn access on in your iPhone’s settings:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security → Health → Fazon.
  3. Turn on the categories you want Fazon to use.
  4. Open Fazon again. Today picks up the change.

Until then, Fazon keeps working. You can enter steps and weight by hand from + Log on Today.
